Register Today for The ANNUAL AEM CONSENSUS CONFERENCE

Academic Emergency Medicine (AEM) sponsors an annual Consensus Conference on a topic that is conducive to the development of a research agenda. The conference is spearheaded by thought leaders within the specialty of Emergency Medicine. The goals of the Consensus Conferences are to heighten awareness related to the topic, discuss the current state of knowledge about the topic, identify knowledge gaps, propose needed research, and issue a call to action to allow future progress.

The AEM Consensus Conference is held each May, the day before the SAEM Annual Meeting. The proceedings from the conference, as well as original research on the topic, are published in the November issue of AEM as a Special Topic Issue.

Register now for the 2009 SAEM Annual Meeting in New Orleans, LA, May 13-17 and be sure to attend the 2009 AEM Consensus Conference on Public Health in the ED: Surveillance, Screening, and Intervention.
